Reddit post API
Reddit post data in one REST call — normalized to the stable JSON schema shared across every FetchPI platform.
- 1 documented endpoints
- GET /v1/reddit/posts/{id}
Contract summary (English): Get a normalized Reddit post (capability reddit.post)
- Normalized response entity
- reddit/post
- capability
- reddit.post
Every response also carries freshness (cache / default / live) and billing metadata.
Use cases
- Feed content-analysis pipelines with structured {{platform}} posts: text, metrics, timestamps and media references.
- Power moderation, research and monitoring workflows that need the original content plus engagement counts.
- Archive {{platform}} content as stable, normalized JSON instead of brittle page scraping.
Response fields
Reddit Post (normalized)
Normalized Reddit post. Provider-private fields MUST NOT appear. Metric names are frozen (upvotes/downvotes/comments — 升/降票/评论). `title` is the platform extension field (the post headline — text carries the selftext body); `url` is the post link. The id is the t3 base36 id without prefix. author is nullable: posts by deleted/suspended accounts ship no resolvable author (a present-but-incomplete author block still fails).
